About the font Cheese and Mouse

Cheese and Mouse is a decorative capital face in which each letter is filled with a delicate pattern of leaves, curls and small ornaments, like cut lace. The outline is light and the fill is intricate, so the text looks like an old engraved initial.

In the preview the digits and punctuation appear as empty boxes, so only letters work. It is for large titles on fairy-tale covers, invitations, menus and certificates, where ornament is the point. At small sizes the pattern turns into grey noise. Latin only.
