About the font Carbon Block

Carbon Block is a heavy, squarish display sans by Ray Larabie. The capitals and lowercase are tall and compact with flat-cut curves, straight vertical stems and narrow counters, so the lines look like blocks of carbon-black metal. A small Typodermic logo sits among the punctuation.

It suits sport and racing posters, industrial branding, headlines, packaging and game titles. Its dense colour is powerful at large sizes but clogs at small ones. The figures are tall and solid, matching the capitals. Latin only.
