Burnstown Dam by Ray Larabie is a Western-style display face, listed among fonts from films. The letters look cut from rough boards and then sketched in outline with hatching: crooked, slightly leaning, hand-painted shapes with a loose outline and shaded edges, as on wooden signs and wanted posters. Capitals and lowercase are both drawn, figures and most punctuation are present, and the font file is large at 178 Kb because of the textured outlines.
It fits Wild West themes, saloon and barbecue menus, rodeo and festival posters, game titles and playful western labels. Use it at a large size, in capitals for impact, in one or two lines. The hatched outline fills in at small sizes, and long text in a rough western face is tiring.
