About the font BookmanCTT BoldItalic

BookmanCTT BoldItalic is a bold italic in the style of Bookman Old Style, with Latin and Cyrillic. The letters are broad and warm, with low contrast, a large x-height and sturdy, rounded serifs, and the italic has lively, slightly swashy forms with a pronounced slant. The figures are bold and round.

It has the friendly, old-fashioned feel of nineteenth-century book faces and mid-century advertising, and works well for emphasis in books, headlines, covers, posters and menus in Russian or English. As a heavy italic it is meant for short passages; long text in this weight is tiring.
