About the font Base 02

Base 02 is a heavy, grunge sans display face with rough, splattered and eroded edges, as if the letters were printed with a worn stamp or photocopied many times. The capitals are blocky and medium-wide, shown in both rows, with figures and a few symbols in the same battered style. Many punctuation marks appear as empty boxes, so the symbol set is limited.

The mood is raw and industrial, close to underground music posters, skate graphics, punk flyers and horror titles. Use it for a few large words on posters, covers, packaging and print designs where a dirty, aggressive texture is wanted. The rough texture makes small sizes and long text hard to read, and missing punctuation means checking before using sentences.
