About the font Balloon Extra Bold BT

Balloon Extra Bold BT is a heavy, slanted comic-style display face with Latin letters only, listed among decorative fonts. The strokes are thick and rounded, written like quick brush lettering, with bouncy, slightly irregular shapes and a forward lean; capitals and lowercase are both present, and the figures are chunky. The rows of symbols in the preview appear as empty boxes, so the usable set is mainly letters, figures and basic punctuation.

The cheerful, hand-lettered look recalls comic-book speech balloons, cartoon titles and children's posters, and suits kids' branding, party invitations, packaging, headlines and playful signs. It is best at larger sizes and in short lines; long text in heavy italic tires the eye.
