Artifika Medium is a sturdy, slightly flared serif by Yulya Zhdanova of Cyreal, Latin only, built for comfortable reading. The letters have moderate contrast and short, wedge-like serifs that merge into the stems, so the forms look warm and a little sans-like, with a generous x-height and open shapes. The tags are Paragraph and Serif.
It has a friendly, humanist tone and works well for blog and web text, captions, headings, brochures and short book passages at ordinary sizes. The medium weight gives a solid, readable colour, while in display sizes it feels quiet rather than dramatic.
