Alba is a retro display face built from round, looping forms in the spirit of the early 1970s: bold, smooth strokes of even weight, tall rounded capitals, lowercase with big circular bowls and tails that curl in the manner of the era, and figures in the same style. A few symbols look decorative. It is tagged retro, and no designer is named in the data.
It brings back 70s record sleeves, posters, boutique signs and playful packaging. It suits titles, logos and short headings at a medium or large size. The looping shapes use a lot of space and slow down reading in long lines, so keep it for display and a few words.
