About the font Aksent

Aksent is a wide, heavy display sans-serif with squared forms and sliced corners, as if each letter had been cut from a metal plate. The capitals are broad and flat, the lowercase repeats them in a smaller size, and the R, S, G and other round letters are drawn with straight sides and chamfers. The digits are just as angular.

The technical, sporty look recalls racing logos, game consoles and sci-fi interfaces. It is meant for headings, posters, packaging, esports and automotive branding, set in large sizes with generous letter-spacing; at small sizes the sliced details clog and the wide letters waste space.
