About the font AGBenguiat Cyr Bold Bold

AGBenguiat Cyr Bold is a Cyrillic version of the Benguiat-style display serif: heavy, wide letters with flared, tapering strokes, small notched joints and a lowercase with a large, open character. Cyrillic and Latin are both included, and the figures are bold with slightly calligraphic curves.

The 1970s feel is that of film titles, album covers, magazine headlines and retro packaging with a confident, slightly flamboyant voice. It works best large, in headings and short lines. In long text the heavy flared shapes and tight spacing become dense and tiring.
