About the font AcademyCTT

AcademyCTT is a calm, slightly flared serif with the poise of a humanist book face: moderate contrast, a rounded, calligraphic stroke, small soft serifs, and an upright, open lowercase with a distinct, Roman-inscription flavour in the capitals. The preview shows both Latin and a full Cyrillic sample line, with elegant details such as the tails on certain letters and the characteristic Cyrillic forms, so Russian text is clearly supported. The categories also tag it as decorative.

The tone is scholarly and refined, suited to academic papers, invitations, diplomas, certificates, book covers, cultural institutions, gallery and museum material and elegant headings. It reads comfortably at a medium size in short text blocks. At very small sizes the light, flared strokes lose strength, and as a decorative face it should not be pushed into long dense passages.
