About the font Academy Ho

Academy Ho is an outline serif in the Roman inscription manner: capitals with thin double outlines and a hollow interior, flared, tapered strokes and a chiselled look, as if carved in stone and traced. The lowercase is drawn as small capitals, and the spacing is slightly uneven, with gaps after some letters. Cyrillic and Latin are both included, and the figures follow the same outline.

The classical, academic note suits university and museum materials, certificates, diplomas, book covers on historical subjects and elegant logos. The empty interior can be filled with colour, a texture or a photograph. At small sizes the thin double line merges, so use it large, and check kerning in word-spacing by eye.
