About the font Academy cond

Academy cond is a light, slightly condensed old-style serif with Latin and Cyrillic, in a humanist, calligraphic manner. The letters have gentle contrast, flared, wedge-like serifs and open, lively shapes, and the capitals are classically proportioned. Figures are lining and quiet.

It has the refined, bookish tone of an academic publication, a diploma or a fine menu, and works for headings, captions, short book passages and invitations in Russian or English. The light weight and condensed width save space and keep an elegant colour, but at very small sizes the thin strokes weaken.
