About the font a_PresentumCps

a_PresentumCps is a heavy slab-leaning serif in the Clarendon and Egyptian tradition: thick, sturdy serifs, high weight, strong vertical stress and a compact build, with the lowercase set as smaller capitals, so the text reads as small-capital style. The figures are bold and plain, and the categories list Cyrillic and Russian besides the Latin set shown in the preview.

The strong, slightly old-fashioned tone suits posters, announcements, newspaper-style headlines, shop and workshop signs, labels, book jackets and historical or western themes. It is most effective at large sizes and for short lines, since the heavy weight and tight shapes close up in small text.
