About the font a_Grotic

a_Grotic is a plain, neutral grotesque sans-serif with Cyrillic support. The strokes are even and monoline, the letters are medium in width, and the shapes are clean and slightly squarish in the round forms. In the preview a few letter positions appear as empty squares, so check the exact characters you need before using it.

It looks like a sober Soviet-era and early-digital text face: no personality to speak of, which is its point. It is a sensible choice for interface labels, tables, forms, captions and document text where the font should stay out of the way. For display work it will look flat and needs scale or colour to carry the design.
