About the font a_FuturicaBlack Italic

a_FuturicaBlack Italic is a heavy oblique geometric sans in the Futura Black tradition, with Cyrillic and Latin. The letters are built from circles and straight lines, with a tall x-height-to-cap relation of a poster face, a single-storey a, pointed apexes on A, M and V, and a clear slant to the right. The figures are bold, and the punctuation set is complete.

The black weight with a slant carries speed and punch, suited to headlines, advertising posters, sports and fashion graphics and logos. It is a display weight, so it works in short lines at big sizes. In long text its dense rounds clog, and for body text a lighter Futura-style cut is better.
