About the font a_CopperGothCpsExp

a_CopperGothCpsExp is an expanded, wide-set face in the Copperplate Gothic tradition, with Latin and Cyrillic. The capitals are broad and even in weight, with tiny blunt serifs that sharpen the corners, and the lowercase keys give the same capitals in a smaller size, so text reads as small capitals. The figures are lining and wide.

The tone is that of business stationery, letterheads, law offices and bank signs from the early twentieth century. It is suited to letterheads, cards, labels, signs and short formal headlines at a medium size with generous spacing. The wide shapes use up space quickly, and long lines in this style become tiring.
