About the font a_CooperBlackOtl

a_CooperBlackOtl is an outline version of a Cooper Black-style soft, heavy serif: round, plump letters with swelling, softly rounded serifs, a low contrast and the friendly 'fat face' bounce, drawn only as a thin dark contour on a white interior. Capitals, lowercase and figures are complete, and Latin and Cyrillic are included.

The contour keeps the cheerful, nostalgic roundness of the seventies while lightening the heavy weight, so it gives posters, labels, packaging and logos a playful, airy and retro voice. It works at a large size over colour or photographs, and the inside can be filled with a colour or pattern. In small text the thin outline gets lost, so avoid paragraphs.
